Last week MK:Smart was represented by BT at one of the world’s largest telecoms, media & technology events held at the London Excel centre.
Amongst the BT content, there was a keynote presentation by Tim Whitley (BT’s Managing Director of Research and Innovation) which described how the MK Data Hub has been designed to support the monetisation of IoT services. On the BT stand Paul Garner, Head of Technical Experts Group, provided a series of half hour presentations on the MK:Smart project across the three days of the event. We’re pleased to report that there was significant interest in the project amongst the audience with many requests for follow-up discussions.
The Broadband World Forum was organised by Informa, specialist in IT/Telecoms and Media Research, and was held in the UK for the first time in more than 5 years.
