Rebecca Brown from Community Action: MK reports on taking the MK:Smart roadshow to the ‘Re-freshers Fair’

Last month we attended MK College to speak to students about Transport in our city. The big question was “What would your number one idea be for improving transport in MK?” The conversations we had highlighted buses as a key mode of transport which could be improved.
For example, one student suggested the idea of a “No Drive Day” where everyone is encouraged to use alternative transport to the car to get around. It’s bright ideas like this that we are collecting for MK:Smart. Our mission is to take the most feasible ideas and turn them into successful projects which will help shape our city and make it smarter.
