Upendra Dharmadhikary from Tech Mahindra joined us at an MK:Smart demo in May this year.
We are pleased to announce that Tech Mahindra have joined MK:Smart this July as an Associate Partner. This specialist, in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering solutions will bring its global expertise to MK:Smart and help in the creation of a social media monitoring platform for Milton Keynes Council. This platform will analyse sentiment across Facebook , Twitter and other sites to complement the Council’s citizen engagement programme. Tech Mahindra will also be pivotal in the development of data analytics solutions within the MK Data Hub to support developers in making sense of the wide variety of data of relevance to Milton Keynes.
Commenting on the partnership, Upendra Dharmadhikary, Vice President, Tech Mahindra said, “We are excited to be part of this ambitious initiative to develop an innovative data infrastructure and services for Milton Keynes.” He added, “This partnership brings skills from both academia and the commercial world which will deliver great benefits in furthering research in our increasingly digitised and connected world.”
Tech Mahindra have a significant presence in Milton Keynes and this announcement follows on from the organisation signing a strategic partnership agreement with The Open University and Milton Keynes Council in November 2014. They are part of the 16.9 billion Dollar Mahindra Group that employs more than 200,000 people across 100 countries and operates in key industries that drive economic growth.
