Daniel Gooch and Rebecca Brown met with Parliament Member Iain Stewart a short while ago, to discuss the growth resulting from MK:Smart.
Within the budget there was a decision to ask the National Infrastructure Commission to “develop proposals for unlocking growth, housing and jobs in the Cambridge – Milton Keynes – Oxford corridor”.
In his response, Iain Stewart (Member of Parliament for Milton Keynes South) discussed how the Open University and MK:Smart are helping to develop infrastructure solutions for the future.
During his speech he continued to say that “a number of exciting projects to develop the arc are already under way… Such schemes will unlock the digital and hard-infrastructure improvements of the future, and it is important that the National Infrastructure Commission takes that work into consideration.”
