The MK Data Hub is Milton Keynes’ citywide infrastructure for exchanging and creating things with data. It was developed by the MK:Smart project to support local enterprises in creating data-led services and products. We are delighted to announce that it is now being released to the public, so every company and developer with an interest in Milton Keynes can benefit.
Please join us at the launch to explore what the MK Data Hub and the wider MK:Smart project can do for you. At the event, key members of MK:Smart project will talk about the value of data in such a thriving city; experts will be on hand to show you how to develop data-led applications with the MK Data Hub; and you can discover creative transport, energy and water applications already in use.
Importantly, you will also have the opportunity to engage with companies, from SMEs to large organisations, who are already working with the MK Data Hub and generating value out of the huge data infrastructure in Milton Keynes, one of the fastest growing cities in the UK and a great economic success story. You can sign up to the new Urban Startup Lab programme, too. It’s a complete support programme run by both technical and business experts to support SMEs in benefiting from the availability of Milton Keynes city data.
